Fine Arts Program

At Intandem we believe in the transformative power of the arts. Art is an integral part of humanity, serving as a means of expression, communication, and creativity. Whether in the form of paintings, sculptures, music, or dance, art can engage and inspire people in ways that nothing else does.  The creative arts program at Intandem is an innovative, multi-arts,
educational enrichment and engagement resource dedicated to providing exciting opportunities that nurture and excite every creative process.  We are proud to offer a broad spectrum of art activities, providing our individuals opportunities to express themselves artistically, work individually and collaboratively, explore new experiences, and expand their skills.

Our day-habilitation locations in Niagara and Cattaraugus Counties offer daily classes and activities in music, movement, theatre, painting, fiber arts, printmaking, mixed media, collage, jewelry making, papier-mâché, and so much more. Grants provide opportunities to explore different mediums such as ceramics, glass fusing, and mural making. This aid also allows us to welcome guest performers and teaching artists to our spaces, all the while supporting our efforts to expand the availability of the arts, and arts engagement, in the communities where we live and work.

The arts belong to everyone, and Intandem’s Arts Coordinator Jennifer Mysliwy is passionate about helping our program participants find and share their unique talents and ‘artist’s voice.’ Jennifer is an arts educator, musician, and theatre practitioner, and she brings energy, imagination, inventiveness, and joy to her work each day. She helps the participants reach their own highest potential as creative thinkers, dreamers, and makers… and every day the artists at Intandem exceed expectations.  We welcome our clients, family members, and our community to support our arts programs and celebrate creativity with us here at Intandem, and out in our neighborhood and cultural centers.
