I work for Intandem because our mission aligns deeply with my personal values and my purpose in life. Throughout college, I knew I wanted to use my degree to make a positive impact in others’ lives, but I never really felt like I knew what kind of organization was the right path. Later on, I was blessed with the experience to work in direct care, and seeing the impact made on individuals’ lives solidified the direction I wanted to take in my career. Through providing direct support, I witnessed firsthand how vital strong, compassionate support systems are for individuals with disabilities and mental health care needs. It was at this point that I knew I wanted to pursue a role in which I could use my education and background to continue to have an impact in this field.
It was such a blessing to find the perfect fit in my search at Intandem. I have now been with the agency for about 10 months as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. When I first began working at Intandem, I did not know the extent to which our services truly reached. The nature of my position has taught me so much about the variety of programs and services, numerous opportunities for staff, and the overall impact we have. I greatly enjoy my role, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to share our mission with others every single day. It is truly inspiring to be a part of a team that cares so deeply for the individuals we serve.
