Continuing Day Treatment (CDT)
The Continuing Day Treatment program (CDT) is a comprehensive day program for adults with serious, persistent mental illness with a co-occurring intellectual disability. Primary program emphasis is the promotion of stability and recovery for this underserved population. Services offered included psychiatry, medication management, nursing, individual therapy, and group therapy. CDT is a strengths-based program that assists the people with managing chronic mental illness, decreasing hospital recidivism and developing independent living skills in an effort to enhance their journey to recovery.
