Rebranding Effort Underway for the Rehabilitation Center of Olean and Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara
After over 60 years of helping people with disabilities, local organizations merge and plan rebranding effort
OLEAN, NY/NIAGARA FALLS, NY — NYSARC, Inc., Cattaraugus County Chapter, an affiliate of the Rehabilitation Center and Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara are pleased to announce that the board of directors of each agency have approved the unification of the two organizations. Each agency is a Chapter of the Arc of New York.
Mari Howard, President and CEO of the merged entity comments, “The Arc of New York contacted the The ReHabilitation Center two years ago and requseted our assistance in determining the future viability of the Niagara Chapter. We recognized that our missions and visions were very similar and combining the resources of both organizations would strengthen our agency and enhance our ability to serve people with disabilities across a larger demographic area.
Each organization has a rich history of supporting people with disabilities for over 60 years, and although the Board of Directors and staff from both agencies realize that preserving the critical components of those histories is essential, it is equally important to define a unified brand that will sustain the missions of each organization.
